Big Plans

I've been spending some time daydreaming about where to go with this blog and the challenge of "halving" it all. I know what I'm after, and yet...I kind of don't know what I'm after, if that makes sense.

I feel like I've been dancing around the edges of an idea without being able to put it into words. Maybe it's that I want to spend less time "halving" and more time working on the "whole".

I have a vision of my perfect day. It includes solitary time for yoga, journaling, and writing my novels. It includes nurturing my home and family through intentional work - the spirituality of sweeping a floor, the magic of baking bread. It includes time outdoors, walking, playing, gardening, shopping: using my feet to get myself where I need to go. And it includes time for my kids and time for husband.

I'm going to be writing about my quest for this perfect day. What I need to add. What I need to subtract. And how the world reacts to it!
