My walk stretched out to about a half-hour. I took my daughter along and we walked snow-covered roads, passing our neighbors struggling to shovel their driveways and sidewalks.
Each time we turned a corner we found the farthest thing we could see - mountaintops, trees in the distance, a house on a hillside. Then we talked about what made the landscape beautiful - snow on pine trees, white mountains against a blue sky...
