Library Books!

I've been having lots of fun at the library lately. Besides getting every book on climate change there is (it's kind of a hobby for me. I always wanted to see two-mile high glaciers when I was a kid), I found a terrific book about becoming more organized.

It's called One Year to an Organized Life, by Regina Leeds, and I may have to purchase it. I can't keep it from the library for a whole year, after all.

The author breaks down the process of becoming an organized person into monthly and weekly tasks and habits to accumulate. For example, in January you learn to understand time management and you work on organizing your kitchen. In May you tackle your attic, basement, garage, and laundry room. Along the way, you get to read lots of inspiring stories, learn tips and tricks, and cultivate habits that should serve you for a lifetime.

What attracts me to this book is the idea of changing slowly over the course of a year. Like most people, I can get on a cleanliness kick for a few weeks, but then things start to go south. I have to program myself for lasting change. One Year to an Organized Life seems like a great resource to help me out with conquering my household chores so I can get on to the good stuff!

That looks like a great book. Checking to see if my library has it. TFS!

I, too, am going to see if my library carries this book.

Ever since I was linked to your blog I have loved reading how you are shrinking things to half.

Oh, and because I love your blog so much, I've awarded you. Come by my blog to receive.
